Halfaker and Associates, LLC, Awarded VA T4NG Task Order to Support the VA’s Medical Care Collection Fund Program
ARLINGTON, Va., September 06, 2016 - Halfaker and Associates, LLC (Halfaker), a technology solutions provider within the Federal Government’s, health, intelligence, defense and security sectors, was awarded the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Medical Care Collection Fund (MCCF) Systems Enhancements task order under the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) contract vehicle. Though the EDI MCCF Systems Enhancements task order, Halfaker will transform how VA bills private insurance companies by modernizing insurance and billing modules within VA’s Electronic Health Record. The task order has a one-year base period of performance plus two option years and a value of just under $24 million.
Over the three year period of performance, Halfaker will enhance MCCF IT system accuracy and efficiency through core component modernization, ultimately improving Veteran satisfaction, enhancing user experience, and increasing Veteran Integrated Service Network (VISN) reimbursement amounts which will go directly toward serving Veterans.
