Human-Centered and User-Centered Design: Transforming DoD’s Military OneSource Digital Platform

Digital services touch almost every corner of daily life, creating both opportunities and challenges for the Federal Government to provide the modern user interface, instant engagement, and personalized feedback that citizens have come to expect from digital platforms. These efforts have culminated in the creation of dedicated groups to guide Digital Government, including the United States Digital Service (USDS) and 18F within the General Services Administration (GSA), and greater prioritization of digital strategy by Chief Information Officers (CIOs) across the Federal Government.
